DONATE TO HELP

Even a Little of Your Time Can Help!

Of the 1.7 million veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, 300,000 (20%) suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder or major depression. One in 10 veterans is disabled, often times by injuries sustained in combat (RAND Center for Military Health Policy Research, Invisible Wounds of War, 2008).

Police officers and emergency service personnel see the worst of humanity almost every day. The calls they interject are usually when things are not going well. Traumatic events put them at risk for PTS and TBI.

Our canine will help - could you help us help them?

By creating a stronger supportive atmosphere of empathy, security, and acceptance during trauma stressor rehabilitation, our programs help to combat negative outcomes and suicide.
