Public Service Purple Heart Recipient

Jason brings more than 13 years of law enforcement experience to the wellness team at Tails of Valor®.  Jason, now a retired police officer, brings personal experience of traumatic events and one on one sessions of how to overcome them.  He provides guidance as a wellness team mentor that went on his Journey with A Purpose® to become a stronger person and a leader for others to move beyond their trauma.

Nicole, BSN, CPS-PA, Navy Veteran

Wellness Team

Nicole brings experience with professionalism. Being a Navy Veteran, BSN/CPS Nicole is able to provide guidance and support to our clients on their Journey With A Purpose®.  She is a person with "lived experience" who has been trained to support those needing our services through the unconditional love of a dog.

Andrea has a rich background in administration, boasting over 30 years of experience. She brings a blend of professionalism and humor to our team. Above all, Andrea is passionate about giving back and helping others

Lead Instructor Canine Team

Kate

Canine Management

Kate has an extensive background in animal behavior, health, and training. After being a groomer for some time, she fell in love with dog training. Kate took training courses to compliment sport and protection canine work as well as, behavior courses to monitor dog daycare/playgroups. Kate brings passion, heart and experince to work everyday to make the Tails of Valor® dogs the best they can be.

Whitney

Canine Management

Whitney graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in May of 2024. Her lifelong love for dogs has inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to animals. Beyond her academic achievements, Whitney enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, boating, and has even had the unique experience of delivering a lamb. With a deep passion for animals and a hands-on approach to learning, she is excited to apply her knowledge and experience to a career that allows her to make a positive impact on the lives of animals, and their handlers.”

Michelle

Canine Management

Michelle is a dedicated member of the Tails of Valor® team who brings a unique blend of compassion, experience, and education. A lifelong animal lover, she holds a degree in Psychology from Cedar Crest College. Michelle began her journey with Tails of Valor as a volunteer where she quickly discovered a sense of purpose and belonging. Her dedication and expertise eventually led to her joining the staff. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter exploring nature, watching movies, and seeking out adventure.
