Named in Honor of Army Spc. Kurt E. Krout

US Army

1/26/1962 - 8/6/2005

Kurt was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 111th Infantry Regiment (Mechanized) PA Army National Guard out of Philadelphia. On August 6, 2005, an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee as he was conducting convoy operations near Balad, Iraq. Also killed was his Sergeant.

Kurt's friends and co-workers from Wal-Mart Quakertown, PA knew him as a fun loving man who would do whatever you needed him to do and even things you didn't ask of him.

He did what he felt was right and that was serving his country. In life he honored the flag and in death the flag will honor him.
